A reunion is being planned for the summer of 2013 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of Greenham Common High School. All classes are invited.
Many parts of this website are currently under construction, so please excuse any missing or non-working areas.
Welcome to the home page of the Greenham Common High School Alumni Network! Greenham Common High School was a Department of Defense Dependents School located on RAF Greenham Common in the United Kingdom. The high school was in operation from 1988 until 1991. GCHS produced only three graduating classes: the classes of 1989, 1990, and 1991.
The Greenham Common High School Alumni Network is searching for alumni of GCHS, connecting them with each other, and planning reunions. Help us with this effort by submitting your contact information and keeping us updated with changes to your contact information.
The newsletter for the GCHSAN, the Silver and Black Gazette, is emailed monthly. The Silver and Black Gazette was the name of our high school newspaper and the name used for the alumni edition brings back that part of our history.
On this site you will find pages for the individual graduating classes. In addition, we have pages for classes before the high school opened and for classes that graduated from high school after the high school closed. These later and earlier classes may have attended the high school or another school at Greenham Common, or they have some other connection to GCHS, such as attending London Central High School with students from Greenham Common. On the class pages, you will find a list of the alumni that we have found and those that are still lost. There is also a page for staff/faculty, in addition to an In Memoriam page to remember deceased alumni. A reunion information page will keep you updated on reunion plans and there is a link to the Silver and Black Gazette site, where you can view issues of the alumni newsletter.
You can help us by using the buttons above. You can submit your contact information to let us know how to contact you and let us know that you have been found. You can update your contact information to let us know when it changes or just to make sure we have the correct information. You can submit an event that has happened in your life; events can be personal or professional, such as births, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, promotions, new jobs, moves, or anything else you might want to tell everyone. The events announcements are a good way to help us feel more connected to each other. With the next button, you can pre-register for the reunion that will take place in the summer of 2013. Pre-registration is just a way for us to find out who plans to attend the reunion. By pre-registering, you are not committing to attending and no money is being collected at this time; you are just letting us know that you want to attend the reunion and you plan to do so if possible. We need this information in order to better plan the reunion.
